As a criminal law expert and human rights lawyer and the founder of AS Legal, I bring a unique blend of extensive academic excellence and hands-on experience in criminal law, as well as in other overlapping areas of law that are essential to protecting the rights and interests of my clients.

I graduated both from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and from the French-Romanian Law College of European Studies. This is the result of a scientific cooperation between the University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, the University of Bucharest and thirteen other prestigious universities. This double-degree proves not only consistency, but also determination oriented towards success, which I am eager to put at your service.

I pursued and graduated a master degree within the same Faculty of Law. The thesis was focusing on “The criminal liability of the legal person for medical malpractice.” My research explored criminal liability in sensitive areas, honing my analytical and problem-solving skills for real-world situations. Consequently, Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury became core service areas offered by AS Legal. Moreover, my training in these fields combines essential theoretical consistency with strong practical experience. For instance, I defended individuals accused of wrongful death due to failing to meet medical obligations. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Criminal Law, focusing on medical safety measures impacting mentally ill people. Through this work, I examine the balance between public safety and individual rights in complex legal challenges.

It helps me ensure you have strong representation where freedom, health, and human rights intersect. I am ready to assist clients facing involuntary confinement proceedings under the Criminal Procedure Code. I also provide representation for cases under Law No. 487/2002 on Mental Health and Protection of Persons. My legal career includes collaborations with top local and international law firms. I gained exposure to corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, employment, real estate, and criminal law.

Over time, my focus shifted toward white-collar crime and high-stakes criminal defense. I represented national and multinational companies in cases of occupational crimes and industrial accidents with successful outcomes. Additionally, I managed cases involving cyber-fraud, money laundering, and tax evasion, ensuring thorough legal support for clients. My work also included representation in road traffic offences and sexual offences across various legal contexts. Furthermore, I handled cases involving customs violations, counterfeiting, and offences against physical and psychical integrity. My experience includes representation in drug-related offences, forgery, bribery, and corruption cases. I represented clients in corruption cases involving EU funds.

At AS Legal, I built a full deck of legal services out of all these experiences, offering comprehensive legal support in several practice areas. It allows me to tackle their unique situation from multiple angles, crafting strategies that are both innovative and grounded in thorough research and practice. As part of my commitment to advancing my field, I’ve contributed articles on topics like the duration of criminal trials and corporate responsibility in environmental law.
